Any Other Details: Original first pressing on the yellow and green Harvest Record Label, has no EMI Logo and it does have the words "Gramophone Co Ltd" written around the edge of the label. Record Condition: Has been very well looked after and carefully played so shows very few, if any, very light surface lines under strong light, these do not affect play. Cover Condition: excellent condition with only slight usage wear as you would expect from normal play, acceptable to most collectors. Item Description(Pictures Below) Pink Floyd,Atom Heart Mother,LP, Catalogue Number: (SHVL 781), Cover Details: Gatefold sleeve with a Company inner sleeve. Im thinking of saving money to buy the mfsl lp of meddle but its like 600$. i also had a 3rd uk press and that has more bass but i think its too much bass and prefer the 1st press. ive been happy with this press for the past 3 years.Īs for meddle i have a 1st uk press and its great. I now own the mfsl lp and this one is the best sadly too bad its so expensive. The new floyd reissue was nice but after time i realized is was too soft/smooth sounding and lacking bite or edge. i remember the uk pressings sounding slightly muddy. usually quad mixes are very different but not really the case on atom heart mother. i decided theuk 1st press sounded better than the quad uk press and sold the quad. The uk i had a long time ago and the quad uk didnt sound much different. The japanese had very nice high end and crisp but the volume was very low. but none were the audiophile experience i wanted. I had 1st uk pressing, a quadraphonic uk press, a 1st japan press(black vinyl not red) and the new pink floyd reissue.
